Best Concert E.V.E.R. - Jason Aldean

Well, our vacation to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Tennessee finally ended last Friday and on Saturday we went to the absolute best concert on the face of the Earth...Jason Aldean. I admit it, I am an absolute FANatic when it comes to this artist. We arrived at Coyote Joe's in Charlotte, NC at 5:45 Saturday evening. Jason Aldean set to take the stage at 11:00. Doors open at 7:00 and Out of the Blue set to take the stage at 8:00. We finally get in and see about a five-foot section of stage which is not occupied by anxious fans yet. I take my place there at the stage and wait patiently for 11:00 p.m. All I can say is it was well worth the wait. Following are some pictures from the show...

Spending time with family is priceless. What I wouldn't give for every day to be like the pictures above. Madison played her first ever grab machine and actually won! The delight in her face is something a camera just can not capture. I am so privileged to have been a part of it. The next to last picture shows her latest obsession...if she were to come across a field of 100 of these, I am sure she would pick every last one and blow until she could blow no longer.

Grotto Falls

Today we took a 2.8 mile hike up to Grotto Falls in Gatlinburg, TN. It was not an easy hike but worth it, nonetheless. There were many trips, slips and falls but the sight of a waterfall you would walk behind and the water hitting the rocks was absolutely beautiful. This is something I would most certainly like to try again. The kids, however, probably will not ask to go back any time soon. LOL. The weather here in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is beautiful and there are so many things to do. Many picutres to come!!
